LSU Football Bag Policy
Tiger Stadium, home of the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has implemented a clear bag policy as part of the Geaux Safe initiative to enhance public safety and improve the overall gameday experience. The Tiger Stadium bag policy is designed to streamline entry into the stadium and maintain a safe and secure environment. The policy is in place for all events held at Tiger Stadium, also known as “Death Valley.”
Tiger Stadium Bag Policy
Fans attending games at Tiger Stadium are allowed to bring the following clear bags:
- Clear tote bags smaller than 12” x 6” x 12”
- One-gallon clear plastic bags
- Small handheld clutch purses, not larger than 4.5” X 6.5”
All bags are subject to search and inspection upon entry. Please note that all backpacks, regardless of size, are prohibited. Exceptions will only be made for those with approved medical needs. Reminder, diaper bags that do not meet the clear bag policy guidelines will not be admitted.
Purse Policy
Purses are not permitted at Tiger Stadium unless they are clear and adhere to the bag policy requirements. The only non-clear bags allowed are small clutch purses, not larger than 4.5” X 6.5”.
What Can I Bring to Tiger Stadium?
Fans can bring the following items to Tiger Stadium:
- Permitted clear bags as outlined in the bag policy
- Cameras (for both fans and working news media)
- One 32-ounce or smaller, factory-sealed water bottle
- Items for approved medical needs

- Diaper bags
- Solid color cinch bags
- Colored plastic storage bags
Water Bottle Policy
Fans are allowed to bring one 32-ounce or smaller, factory-sealed water bottle into Tiger Stadium. However, food and other containers of any kind such as coolers, ice chests, bottles, cans, cups, flasks, etc. are not permitted. If you have a medical need for any of these items, please enter at the medical checkpoints at Gate 10 or the Southwest Roll Gate.
Bag Check
Fans with prohibited bags will not be permitted inside the venue. Fans with prohibited bags will need to return their bags to their vehicle and transfer their belongings to an approved clear plastic bag before entering the athletic venue.
