Citi Field Parking Map

Citi Field’s lots are labeled A through G, plus the Bus Lot. The lots are spread around the stadium perimeter, with closer lots reserved for preferred pass holders and authorized personnel.
Preferred and Premium Parking at Citi Field
Lot F is designated for single-game preferred parking passes. Lot G is reserved for front office staff, front office visitors, VIP guests, and Premium Suite pass holders.
Preferred Parking Passes are prioritized for Mets season ticket holders. Any remaining passes are sold to the general public through the Mets website. These lots are closest to the stadium entrances, which makes entry and exit noticeably smoother on busy game days.
For concerts and special events, premium parking passes are limited and available only while supplies last – book early. There are no refunds or exchanges on prepaid parking passes, so confirm your event date before purchasing.
Free and Discounted Parking Near Citi Field
There is no free parking in Citi Field’s official lots. Limited free street parking exists in residential areas of Flushing and Corona, but it fills up fast on game days. Side streets south of Roosevelt Avenue, across from the west side of the stadium, are your best bet – though availability is unpredictable.
The Skyview Mall parking garage in Flushing is the Mets’ recommended off-site option. It typically costs $10-$20 depending on the event and is a 10-minute walk along the south side of the Roosevelt Avenue bridge. The garage entrance for vehicles and pedestrians is at the east end of the bridge sidewalk in Flushing, and it is open 24/7.
The Southfield/Commuter Lot offers a $5 rate for fans who arrive early enough. For weekday night games, the $5 rate applies until noon, after which standard event rates kick in. This discounted rate is not available on Jewel Dates – expected sellouts, the US Open, major concerts, and Mets postseason games.
Can You Tailgate at Citi Field?
Tailgating is permitted in select lots but prohibited entirely in Lots A, B, and G. In permitted lots, tailgating is only allowed directly in front of or behind your own vehicle – never in empty parking spaces.
The rules are strict: no open flames of any kind, no alcohol consumption in the parking lots (prohibited by New York law), tailgates must yield to traffic at all times, and catering vehicles or pre-sold organized tailgates are not allowed in any lot. Violations can result in removal from the lot or NYPD involvement.
There are no trash bins in the parking lots – bag your trash for post-event pickup. For concerts, tailgating is prohibited across all lots. The Marina Lot on the north side of the stadium has historically been a popular spot for fan gatherings on big game days.
ADA and Accessible Parking at Citi Field
Citi Field has more than 350 designated accessible parking spaces, making it one of the better-equipped MLB venues for guests with disabilities. Accessible spaces are located primarily in Lots B and F, with additional spaces in the Southfield Lot.
To use an accessible space, guests must display a valid accessible parking placard or license plate along with either a Citi Field preferred parking pass or a daily parking receipt for that event. Accessible spaces in Lot G are reserved only for guests who already have authorized Lot G access and also hold a valid accessibility credential.
Accessible parking is first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved in advance. Vehicles in accessible spaces without proper credentials will be towed at the owner’s expense. All entry points at Citi Field are ADA accessible. Fans with accessibility needs may enter through the Hodges, Seaver, or Stengel VIP gates regardless of seating location.
Uber and Lyft at Citi Field
Rideshare drop-off and pickup for Uber and Lyft is along Seaver Way, following NYPD and traffic personnel direction on game days. MTA Access-A-Ride drop-off and pickup is at the Bullpen Gate on Seaver Way.
During high-traffic events when NYPD enforces curb restrictions along Seaver Way, Access-A-Ride vans and rideshare vehicles may be redirected to Roosevelt Avenue underneath the 7-train station. On those dates, confirm pickup logistics directly with your driver or Access-A-Ride contact.
Post-game rideshare wait times in Flushing can be long. Plan your pickup location in advance and stay flexible on timing. Some fans walk toward the 7 train station area to get a faster pickup away from the stadium crowd.
Public Transit to Citi Field
The #7 subway and the Long Island Rail Road both stop directly at the stadium – transit is the fastest way to get here on game days. The Mets-Willets Point station is served by the 7 train, which runs local and express service between Queens and Manhattan, with stops at Hudson Yards, Times Square/Port Authority, and 5th Avenue.
LIRR riders can take direct service to Citi Field from Penn Station, Grand Central Madison, Woodside, and all Port Washington Branch stations. Fans on other LIRR branches can connect to the Port Washington line at Woodside, a five-minute ride from the stadium. The LIRR drops passengers off about two minutes on foot from the ballpark.
The 7 train connects with Metro-North trains from Westchester and Connecticut at Grand Central, making it a solid option for tri-state area fans. For drivers, Citi Field is at 41 Seaver Way in Flushing, Queens. Access via the Whitestone Expressway or Grand Central Parkway, Exit 9E.
Citi Field Parking Tips
Buy your parking pass online before game day. On-site rates are higher than pre-purchase prices, and preferred lots can sell out. Third-party platforms like SpotHero also list nearby garages at discounted rates that often undercut the official price.
If you want the $5 Southfield/Commuter Lot rate, arrive early – the cutoff is noon for weekday night games and as early as 8 a.m. for noon games. This rate does not apply on Jewel Dates, so check the Mets calendar before planning an early arrival.
Citi Field is fully cashless, so have your card or mobile payment ready at the booth. On nice weather days, parking in the Stadium View East/West or Marina East lots and walking in is a practical way to beat post-game traffic.
